Terms and conditions
Last updated: March 2026
Taxi 77 Halkidiki arranges private transfer bookings through this website, www.taxi77halkidiki.com. We act as the booking channel between you and the driver who performs the transfer.
When you complete a booking, you confirm that you have read these terms, that you agree to them, and that you are legally able to accept them for yourself and for anyone travelling with you. You agree to tell us about any changes or cancellations, and to share booking details with your fellow passengers. If you do not accept these terms, you cannot book through our website.
Language
The site is available in Greek and English, and we handle enquiries in those languages. We aim for accurate translations; if the Greek and English texts ever differ, the Greek version prevails.
Bookings and confirmation
To book, follow the steps on our website. We normally need requests at least 12 hours before the transfer. We may decline a request if we cannot fulfil it; in that case we will let you know by email. When a booking is accepted, we send a confirmation (booking voucher) to the email you provided. That confirmation reflects the agreement between you and the driver. If we propose an alternative service or different conditions, we will explain that clearly before you rely on it.
Details, route and payment
The information you enter (names, addresses, phone numbers, dates, times, flight data, etc.) is passed to the driver so the trip can be planned. Please check it carefully and contact us straight away by phone, WhatsApp, or email if anything is wrong. The driver will take you as close to your address as safety and access allow; sometimes roadworks, traffic rules or vehicle size mean pickup or drop-off at the nearest practical point instead of literally at the door. If a longer detour is unavoidable, extra charges may apply and will be agreed where possible in advance.
We do not take payment on the website. You pay the driver directly (for example in cash in EUR or by card, as agreed). After the driver accepts your booking, you receive your voucher by email. We recommend having it with you and showing it to the driver at the start of the trip; it is not required for the transfer to go ahead. When you receive the voucher, check every detail and tell us immediately if something is incorrect.
Special requests
Child seats, extra luggage, golf bags, and similar needs should be mentioned when you book. We will pass the request to the driver, but we cannot guarantee availability and are not liable if something cannot be provided on the day.
Changes, cancellations and waiting time
At present we do not charge for cancelling or changing a booking, unless extra costs apply (for example a different destination or vehicle). Please send changes in writing to taxihalkidikis@gmail.com or call / WhatsApp +30 697 231 7708. The driver confirms changes where needed; confirmation is sent to your booking email. We ask that you request changes ideally at least 12 hours before pickup so we can adjust fairly for everyone.
For airport pickups the driver monitors your flight. If you miss the flight, it is cancelled, or the flight number changes, contact us as soon as you can. After landing, the driver will wait up to 60 minutes at the meeting point on your voucher. If you expect a longer delay, someone in your group should warn the driver. If no one appears and we cannot reach you by the phone number you gave, the transfer may be treated as a no-show and cancelled. For non-airport pickups the usual free wait is 20 minutes, then the same contact rules apply. If you cannot find the driver, call or WhatsApp us immediately; if we hear nothing, the booking may be cancelled.
We do not guarantee a specific vehicle model; the driver may substitute another vehicle of the same or higher category. The driver and Taxi 77 Halkidiki may refuse to carry anyone who is or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour endangers the driver, the vehicle or other passengers. Alcohol is not allowed in the vehicle. Smoking only with the driver’s explicit permission. Passenger vehicles are insured as required by Greek law; luggage is carried at your own risk and we do not accept liability for loss or damage to bags or belongings.
Our role and liability
We are a booking agent, not the company that operates the vehicle. We are not responsible for how the transfer is actually carried out. Our role is to publish service information, take your booking request, and help communicate changes. We are not liable for illness, injury, death, or loss—including loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal items. Any claim of that kind should be directed to the driver.
Force majeure
Neither we nor the driver is liable if a service must be cancelled or changed because of events outside reasonable control—for example accidents and knock-on delays, protests, police action, road hazards, terrorism, natural disasters, fire, severe weather, or similar circumstances.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you are an adult with full legal capacity. You must tell us promptly—by email, phone, or WhatsApp—about anything that could affect the service. The transfer is based on the details you gave; wrong information or failure to update us may mean the service cannot be completed, and responsibility in that case is yours.
We also recommend keeping your booking voucher available during the trip; it is not mandatory but makes it easier to match your booking. If your flight or contact details change, tell us as soon as possible. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before departure. We mainly contact you by email, phone, or WhatsApp, so check your messages before you travel.
If something goes wrong during the transfer, tell the driver or call / WhatsApp us; we will try to help. Written complaints should be sent to taxihalkidikis@gmail.com within 15 days after the transfer.
Children and passengers with reduced mobility
State when booking if children are travelling. You may ask for a child seat subject to availability; if you do not bring your own restraint and do not request one, children travel according to applicable EU rules (including Directive 2003/20/EC) and sit in the rear. Every child counts as a full passenger. Passengers with disabilities or who use a wheelchair must say so when booking and ensure the chosen vehicle is suitable. They must be able to board with their own companions’ help if no other assistance is agreed.
Luggage and prohibited items
Unless you agree something different when booking, each passenger may bring one suitcase whose length + width + height totals at most 150 cm, plus hand luggage. Extra or oversized items must be declared when you book; you may be charged extra if another vehicle is needed because of undeclared luggage.
You must follow local laws. Luggage must not contain illegal items (e.g. weapons). Pets only if declared in advance and carried in a proper carrier; undeclared pets may be refused. Very large, heavy or fragile items may be refused. Valuables are best kept with you; luggage is at your risk and we recommend travel insurance.
